The Khan Muhammad Mridha Mosque is located in Atishakhana on the west of Lalbagh fort of capital Dhaka. It is a two-storied rectangular building. There is a mosque on first floor. It is a 3-domed mosque. There are 4 octagonal monuments in its 4 corners. On the west wall there are 3 ornamental mihrabs. An inscription from the mosque shows that the mosque was built by Khan Muhammad Mridha sometime close to 1705 AD. The mosque has 3 entrances on the eastern wall and there are 1 entrance on the north and south walls. There was a tahakhana on the bottom floor of the mosque. It was considered to be a madrassa hostel. There is a 3-room building on the north-east of the mosque, which is estimated to be used as madrasa.
